Caroline Mucino, a Southern California native, embarked on her illustrious mortgage career in 2003 when she joined Home Loan Center (HLC). Starting as a Processor, she swiftly distinguished herself, earning the prestigious title of Top Processor within just 90 days of joining HLC. Throughout her tenure, Caroline garnered numerous accolades, shattered company funding records, and ascended to leadership roles. Not content with just excelling in the refinance sector, Caroline played a pivotal role in launching a successful Purchase division.

In 2010, Caroline brought her wealth of experience to loanDepot, where her leadership acumen led her to establish the inaugural off-site Operations branch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Rapidly ascending the corporate ladder, she assumed the role of Director of National Processing, overseeing five Processing Teams closing billions of dollars in mortgage volume yearly.

In 2019, driven by a steadfast commitment to industry transformation, Caroline embarked on a new chapter by lending her expertise to a startup mortgage venture. As Senior Vice President of Operations, she played a pivotal role in orchestrating the company’s impressive rise, overseeing not only Processing teams across multiple states but also crucial departments such as Funding, Post Closing, and Disclosures. Her innovative operational models and strategic initiatives became the cornerstone of the company’s ascent.

Driven by a vision to transform the mortgage processing landscape, Caroline co-founded Phoenix Dynamic Partners LLC with Brandon DeVaughn. Together, they usher in an era of innovation, efficiency, and unparalleled success.

Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of passion, perseverance, and unwavering determination. She has a multifaceted approach to operational management and team development, which has been instrumental in driving organizational success and growth.

Outside of work, Caroline cherishes her time with her son Dominic, family, and friends. She loves traveling, reading, and immersing herself in nature.

Brandon DeVaughn

Brandon DeVaughn, a native of southern California, embarked on his journey in the mortgage industry in 2011 with JP Morgan Chase. Starting as a mortgage loan processor, Brandon quickly showcased his aptitude for the mortgage field, earning a promotion to Processing Manager within six months. This marked the beginning of a successful tenure at Chase, where he honed his mortgage processing skills and expertise over several years.

In pursuit of further growth and challenges, Brandon transitioned to loanDepot, another prominent player in the mortgage sector, where he continued to excel. From 2015 to 2022, Brandon distinguished himself by consistently achieving the prestigious ‘Chairman’s Elite’ designation, a testament to his exceptional performance, dedication and customer service. His commitment to excellence set him apart as one of the top processors nationally within loanDepot.

Driven by a vision to enhance the mortgage contract processing landscape, Brandon partnered with Caroline Mucino to establish Phoenix Dynamic Partners LLC. Together, they endeavor to revolutionize the industry, bringing innovation and efficiency to mortgage processing.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Brandon finds joy in his role as a father, cherishing moments spent watching his son’s endeavors on the soccer field as part of the esteemed Barcelona club located in Casa Grande, AZ. An advocate for a balanced lifestyle, Brandon prioritizes health and wellness, dedicating time to exercise and staying active. He also finds solace and companionship in the company of his beloved bulldogs, embracing the simple joys of life outside the demands of work.
